ITunes presents your iPhone data in an organized, user-friendly format. It imposes a few restrictions, however, and one of them is limited printing options. Syncing is essentially the only option available on the iTunes Contacts tab. It is possible to print a complete contact list but you must first convert your contacts into a spreadsheet.
1.Connect the iPhone to your computer using the supplied USB cord.
3.Click the 'iPhone' icon on the left side of the screen to make it active.
4.Click the 'Info' tab and place a check mark beside 'Sync Contacts With.' Change 'All Contacts' to 'Selected Groups' to choose individual contacts instead of the entire list, if desired.
5.Click the drop-down menu to select 'Windows Contacts' and click 'Apply.'
6.Minimize iTunes, click 'Start,' and then click your username.
7.Locate the 'Contacts' folder and double-click to open it.
8.Click the 'Arrow' directly to the right of the 'Share With' button and select 'Export.'
9.Click to highlight 'CSV (Comma Separated Values)' and then click 'Export.'
10.Enter a save location for the contacts and click 'Next' to continue.
11.Choose the fields you wish to keep, such as 'First Name,' 'Middle Name' or 'Home City.' Click 'Finish' to confirm and 'OK' when prompted.
12.Bes in show wow. Launch Excel. Click 'File' and 'Open.' Change the file format from 'All Excel Files' to either 'Text Files' or 'All Files.' If you neglect to do this, Excel will not display the CSV file you exported earlier.
13.Browse to the location of the CSV file and click 'Open.' All of your contacts should open as a spreadsheet.

The scan will take you a few seconds. After that, all data in the iTunes backup will be extracted and displayed in clear categories like camera roll, photo stream, contacts, messages, notes, WhatsApp and so forth. You can preview the full detail of every contact, including name, company, phone number, Email address, etc. Check what you want and click 'Recover to Computer' to save it on your computer. It's a one-click work.
Note: If you want to import these contacts back to your iPhone, you can click the button 'Recover to Device' after connecting your device to computer. That's all.

For Windows 7 & 8 (from my knowledge):
- Start iTunes and attach the iPhone.
- Click on your phone icon and then select the Info tab on the top menu.
- Note the drop down menu SYNC CONTACTS WITH.
- Choose Windows Contacts.
- Make sure everything else is unchecked.
- Then go ahead sync your phone.
- This creates and or updates a Contacts Folder in your Windows User's folder called Contacts.
- The info in here looks similar to a file but the columns show contact info.
- Select an entry and OPEN IT (double click or right click and choose open.) - An edit window opens. When you sync the Windows Contact folder and your iPhone you will be able to get a pretty cool reconciliation feature for the differences between the two lists.
- This works well and I know I have my contacts on my computer and backed up with all my other stuff.
